Data Confidentiality
DataVero understands that business data can be sensitive. This page explains the approach used to handle project data and client information responsibly.
1. Confidential Treatment
Client files, spreadsheets, dashboards, reports, credentials, and project communications are treated as confidential project information.
2. Use of Client Data
Client data is used only for understanding, preparing, developing, testing, and delivering the requested project.
3. Access Control
Project files are accessed only by people involved in project delivery. DataVero aims to keep access limited and relevant to the work being performed.
4. File Sharing
Clients should avoid sharing passwords, bank details, medical records, government IDs, or highly sensitive personal data unless absolutely necessary. When possible, sample or anonymized data should be used.
5. Data Return or Deletion
After project completion, clients may request return or deletion of shared project files, subject to operational, backup, legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution needs.
6. Portfolio Use
Client project files, dashboards, and data are not used publicly as portfolio material unless permission is granted or the data is anonymized and no confidential details are disclosed.
